Classes Description

Introductory Ballet and Tap Dance Class for our littlest dancers! Join us for a joyful 45-minute introductory dance class at
FCPR, specially designed for our little dancers aged 3 up to 4! This class combines the grace of ballet and the fun of tap,
providing a perfect introduction to our dance program and a great opportunity to see if dance is the right fit for your child.
What to Expect:
Basic Steps: Young dancers will learn ballet and tap steps in a playful and engaging way.
Engaging Activities: Our structured classes require children to pay attention and follow directions, helping them develop
important listening skills.
Dress Code: Please have your dancer wear a leotard with a skirt of any color, pink tights, tan tap shoes, and pink ballet shoes.
Important Notes: Restroom Reminder: Please ensure your little ones use the restroom at home before arriving to class.

Join us for a joyful 45-minute introductory dance class  specially designed for children aged from 4 – 5 who are interested in starting their dance journey and participating in FCPR’s well-rounded dance program. This class is perfect for young dancers who are ready to learn the fundamentals of ballet and tap, as well as those who have completed our introductory class, Petite Ballerina.

This is a class containing ballet and tap students will develop the skills learned in Tutu Princess class. Young dancers will learn the basic ballet steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement. Second part of the class will focus on the development of basic technical tap skills, as well as the ability to understand music. Uniform- Leotard with skirt of any color, pink tights, tan tap shoes, pink ballet shoes. Class is suitable for students who completed Tutu Princess class as well as beginners in listed class age range. Recital will be held at the end of Semestre.

This class is for continuing ballet and tap students to further develop the skills learned in Tap/Ballet 1 class. The class structure includes more elements of a standard ballet class. Students are introduced to basic ballet exercises, and technical elements. The goal of this class is to solidify basic movements and develop greater awareness of technical concepts. Second part of the class will focus on strength of the legs, ankles and feet and control of the tap movements. Uniform- Leotard with skirt of any color, pink tights, tan tap shoes, pink ballet shoes. Class is suitable for students who completed Tap/Ballet 1 and Beginners in listed age range for class.

The Jazz 1 class is a dynamic introduction to the world of jazz dance. Students will learn foundational jazz techniques,

including basic footwork, isolations, and body control, all set to upbeat and energetic music. This class emphasizes flexibility,

strength, and coordination, helping students build a strong dance foundation while exploring different jazz styles.

Class Highlights:

  • Focus on basic jazz steps and terminology
  • Development of core strength, flexibility, and coordination
  • Introduction to jazz isolations and body movements
  • Fun, high-energy routines set to contemporary and classic jazz music
  • Emphasis on proper technique, alignment, and performance quality

Uniform Requirements

Any color leotard with a skirt, “no string” pink ballet shoes, Tan-colored tap shoes.

Hair must be secured in a ponytail or bun, away from the face
